How to install and maintain the rotary support correctly

The specialized production of rotary support has been in China for more than 20 years. It is gratifying that the quality level of some manufacturers has reached or close to the international advanced level with the continuous improvement of the design and technological level and the accumulation of manufacturing experience. However, due to the fact that users do not pay attention to the details of transportation, storage, installation and maintenance of slewing bearing, the phenomenon that the performance of the host can not be reduced can not be ignored. For example, a large caterpillar type equipment developed by a company has a slewing supporting sound during the test, and the rotation is not smooth. It is found that the distribution of the stiffened plate is not evenly distributed, the local deformation is large and the modified rotation is normal. Another 24 - hour continuous rotating equipment in another company is used for 14 months to break the outer ring. The reason is that the equipment has never checked the bolt pretightening force and several bolts are loose.
So how to properly install and maintain the slewing support?
I. transportation, storage
The slewing bearing has been coated with antirust oil and coated with film before leaving the factory. The rust proof period of this kind of packing is usually 3-6 months. The storage temperature should be 20 + 10 C, and the relative humidity is not greater than 60%. After the validity period, it should be maintained in time. After one year, the rotary bearing should be lubricated and checked for flexibility.
The slewing bearing is usually fixed on pallets or packing boxes when it comes out, and there are two forms of single package and group package. Transportation and storage should be kept at level. No collision and extrusion should be allowed. There should be a smooth isolation between the stacked slewing bearings.
The slewing bearing usually has lifting holes, which can be screwed into the hoisting bolts and hoisted safely.
Two. Installation
First turn on the slewing bearing packaging, check the qualification certificate and sign, confirm that the slewing bearing used is correct.
A, installation plane
The surface should be clean and smooth. All surplus materials such as paint residue, welding bead and burr should be removed. When cleaning, be careful not to let the solvent penetrate into the inside of the slewing bearing, and do not use the solvent that damages the sealing material. Before installation, the surface should be dry and lubricant free. Measures should be taken to protect the workers and the environment.
The installation surface of the mounting support is not more than Ra=12.5,6.3 m, and the error of the flatness of the mounting surface must be measured circumferential and radial errors. The tolerance value of the circumferential plane degree has the corresponding standard value range with the diameter of the gyration supporting raceway (with reference to the relevant standard, radial error is based on the actual flange width measurement, and the radial plane tolerance value is half to half of the tolerance value).
In order to avoid the local overloading of the rotating support caused by the unflatness of the installation plane or the deformation of the support, the circumferential plane degree error can only have one wave fluctuation in any 180 degree range, and the change is slow.
The stiffness of B and support
The standard slewing bearing and the zero clearance slewing bearing have different requirements for the rigidity of the bearing. See the following table:

C, positioning
The inner and outer raceway of the slewing bearing has a soft belt and should be placed on both sides of the main load plane. It is 90 degrees apart from the main load area. There is a blockage or a "S" mark at the soft belt.
In addition, it is necessary to check the alignment between the slewing bearing and the installation surface, usually using a feeler gauge. If the anastomosis is not good, fill it with appropriate materials. It is forbidden to carry out welding work on the bearing after installation of slewing bearing.
D, sturdy bolts
1. Selection of installation bolts
Bolts and washers shall be installed with specified sizes, quantities, strength grades, etc. Another note:
No full threaded bolts
Do not use old bolts, nuts and washer
No opening washer, such as an elastic washer, etc.
2, selection of bolt pretightening torque
The pre tightening force of common metric bolts is recommended to yield 0.6-0.7 times bolt yield strength. It is recommended that bolts should be greater than M27 for hydraulic fastening devices. The pretightening force should not exceed 85% of yield strength.
3. Fastening bolts
The slewing support should be installed under no load condition. Be careful:
* apply a little oil on the thread of the bolt to ensure that the frictional resistance is balanced. Do not use glue on the bolt loosening piece.
Pretightening bolts should be divided into three steps, namely, interlacing and pretightening. The force of the three step is 30%, 80% and 100% respectively.
E, adjusting the side gap of gear
It is important to correctly adjust gear backlash when installing toothed slewing bearings. It can be adjusted by the feeler gauge at the highest point of the radial runout of the gear, and it can also be pressed with lead wire or other suitable methods. If the backlash is not within the specified value, the movable pinion will change the center distance. After adjusting, turn the bearing at least for a whole circle to confirm that there is no other tooth jumping high point, then check the backlash gap once the slewing bearing is finally fixed. The maximum point of the radial runout of the gear is marked with green paint in the groove.
F, first lubrication
1, raceway lubrication
To ensure adequate lubrication, a grease or grease specified in the drawings or product instructions should be added before the initial use. Special attention should be paid to all grease nozzles to be injected into grease one by one. It is best to turn the rotary support at the same time and fill the oil until the grease is squeezed out of the sealing ring.
2. Gear lubrication
When the gear is lubricated, the tooth surface should be cleaned. It is suggested that the grease be brushed on the gear with a clean brush.
